Maison Saint Jean

I didn’t stay overnight, but the hospitality and attention to detail left a lasting impression. There was a mix-up with my booking, and the family owners at Hotel Maison Saint Jean went above and beyond to make things right. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care turned what could have been stressful into a very positive experience. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the restaurant serves great food in a warm atmosphere. You can feel how much heart they put into everything. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.

The wooden interiors and surroundings give the place a warm, gemütlich atmosphere. It’s conveniently central, close to the bus stop, with friendly owners and well-kept rooms.

Right in the center of Courmayeur, which was a great location. We stayed two nights. Dinner at the hotel restaurant on our first evening was really nice, but sadly we got food poisoning. The next day, reception completely denied that the restaurant could have caused it. That night was rough too: the beds were very short, with hard mattresses and pillows. The spa also costs extra, 10 Euro per person per hour.

The spa was an extra charge, but we were glad it wasn’t included in the room price since some guests might not have time to use it. We paid extra for the pool, sauna, and the rest on our second night, and it was well worth it. We only stayed two nights and wished we could have spent our whole holiday here. We traveled for three weeks, and this was easily our favorite hotel. Everything was clean and spacious, the breakfast was great, and there were big fluffy towels. It’s close to everything, the service was EXCELLENT, and the owners were really nice. We’d give it 10 stars! Courmayeur is beautiful, and this is a perfect place to start or finish the TMB hike, or just enjoy the area. We’ll be back, hopefully in winter to ski, and recommend it to everyone.
