Vito at breakfast made the whole group feel looked after. After our first morning, he had our coffees ready before we asked, which was a lovely surprise and showed real hospitality. Everyone else was friendly and helpful too, and the location was great.

The balcony views were superb, and there are several cafés and restaurants just a three-minute walk away. It takes about 10 minutes on foot to reach the main shopping and dining area, bus loop, and tourism centre. We booked months ahead and got a very favourable price, so I thought it was great value. We arrived at 12pm after the TMB, and the front desk arranged for the maid to prepare our room straight away so we could check in. The room was clean and well appointed, though a bit dated. The staff were friendly and helpful. We skipped the in-house restaurant because of other negative reviews, so I can’t comment on it.

The room was clean and did the job, although it felt a bit tired. The shower was a little hard to use at first, but once I figured it out, it was fine. Breakfast was really good, with a nice range of mostly sweet options and some savoury ones too. They made coffee and prepared eggs on request. No complaints about breakfast, and it was up to the standard of other hotels I’ve stayed at in Italy.
