The lunch itself was worth making the trip for, even if you’re not staying nearby. We had generous portions of beautifully presented food, with inventive dishes that still felt rooted in tradition. Our waitress picked local wines to match and took time to tell us about them. The welcome started with a friendly booking call and continued through all the little touches that made us feel at ease.

The room was cozy and clean, and the mountain views from the hotel’s beautiful jacuzzi were magical. We got in late, after the kitchen had closed, but a very kind woman opened it again for us. The meal was amazing, and we loved the local wine she recommended. Hotel Da Gigi felt like a hidden gem. I’d definitely return.

A lovely mountain view from the sundeck, with a whirlpool to enjoy it from. The welcome was warm, and the rooms have been completely renovated. A little-known spot for travellers.

The place is picturesque from the outside, and the spacious rooms have everything you need. There are only a few rooms, but the views are wonderful, and the staff are kind and attentive. Breakfast was lovely each morning. I couldn’t try dinner, though locals told me the restaurant is amazing, and the awards it has won make that easy to believe.

That view is breathtaking, and the location makes this a wonderful place for a mountain getaway. We spent four nights at the hotel and had dinner at the restaurant twice. It’s run by three sisters, with lots of personal touches and delicious food.
