La Collina Degli Scoiattoli

That pool on the hill, with the gorgeous view, is such a highlight. Everything was spotless, and the beds were lovely. The Dutch owners welcome you with so much warmth and enthusiasm, and you can tell they're passionate about the place. They also cook regularly, including proper pizza. What else do you need for a holiday? Corinne and Hans, you're the best!

Breakfast was a real treat, and every morning brought a new surprise. If you get the chance, take the dinner offer too. Corinne makes delicious food, using almost everything from her own garden. Hans and Corinne are so welcoming and have great suggestions for exploring the area, from hazelnut and wine tastings to local restaurants and pretty villages. The view is breathtaking, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean.

I held my yoga retreat here in the fall, and the whole group had a lovely time. The homemade food was excellent and everyone enjoyed it. Hans and Corinne are kind, wonderful, and incredibly helpful. The place is simple and welcoming, with a nice intimate feel. It's surrounded by quiet woods, far from everything, and the view is priceless. I'd be happy to run another retreat here next year :)

The apartment had everything we needed, plus a private terrace with a lovely view. We also enjoyed cooling off in the pool. Corinne made a delicious breakfast each morning, and we ate her cooking on several evenings. Hans and Corinne were warm hosts and gave us great suggestions for outings and restaurants nearby. We spent 4 days enjoying the beautiful setting and had a wonderful stay.
