Almare'

Giovanni, the owner, was friendly and made sure we had what we needed. He also suggested restaurants based on what we like and places to visit around Crotone. Even though the weather wasn’t great, our stay exceeded expectations. We had a very large, comfortable room with a sea view, and the sunrise each morning was unforgettable. The interior and exterior design were exceptional, and everything was clean. There was air conditioning and a big-screen TV with Netflix included. The location is quiet, away from the bars and tourists in the center, but close enough to walk into town. Cross the road for the public beach, where chairs and an umbrella are provided free if you need them. There are also several private beaches within walking distance. If you don’t feel like going to the sea, or the weather isn’t good, the pool stays open until late at night. Breakfast was included, fresh and tasty, and they asked what kind we preferred. Lunch costs extra, but you can arrange it with the owners: choose from a menu and have it delivered at lunchtime. It was cheap and tasty, a handy option if you don’t want to go to a restaurant. Parking was easy, with plenty of space on the road in front of the property.

The view, location, and rooms were all amazing. If we come back to Crotone, we’ll definitely stay at Almare again 🫶 Grazie!

A lovely B&B close to the city, with a sea view and a cozy pool. The owner and staff are very kind, and I’d highly recommend it.
