Beware before booking. I reserved a night, but nobody was there when I arrived, no staff or other guests. I went out for food and came back about an hour later, and it was still empty. My WhatsApp call went unanswered, and my message got no reply either. As it was getting late and dark, I arranged somewhere else to stay. They finally answered about twenty minutes after I'd made those arrangements. They had done nothing to help, yet still thought it was fine to keep my money. My cancellation hadn't stopped them renting to anyone else, since all the rooms were empty. Avoid this place.

We stayed in a historic residence in central Crotone while visiting the Ionian coast of Calabria, especially the Caporizzuto Reserve. The renovation is beautifully done, with quality finishes and elegant, modern rooms that still suit the old building. Our suite had a lovely Lecce stone tub, perfect for relaxing, and breakfast was generous and delicious on the sea-facing panoramic terrace. A great fit if you want modern comfort and the charm of the historic center, with the best beaches of the Capo Rizzuto Reserve only a few kilometers away. @iviaggidiema

The staff and management were genuinely friendly and helpful, and the price felt fair for what was offered. The breakfast was full and satisfying. Inside, there was real attention to detail, excellent cleanliness, modern home automation, and high-quality bathroom products. Even the bathrobes and bedding were personalized. Nothing to complain about. We'll stay at this same B&B when we're back in Crotone.

Parking was the one possible downside. Everything else was special.
