The balconies look out over a ledge full of trash, and the staff were absent. The bathrooms smelled like sewage, the showers were moldy, and there was no hot water. There were cobwebs in the room, and the electricity went out every night because they weren't paying the bills. The food was poor, with frozen croissants. I went with my class, and some of us, me included, developed asthma from the excessive dust in our mattresses. Two days was more than enough. I absolutely don't recommend this horrible place. Stay away.

For a four-star hotel, the room I was given was small, noisy, and had a window facing an inner courtyard. You could hear people walking on the stairs. Breakfast was a bit meager, though the croissants were very good.

The service at Lido degli Scogli was excellent, but I did wake up with ants on my pillow. I mean this as constructive feedback, and hope the hotel can improve that issue.

Crotone's seafront is lovely for a walk, and the breakfast was excellent. If being by the water matters to you, this place is right on the sea and gives you direct access to the beach.

Beautiful and practical place. For somewhere like this, breakfast could be planned with a little more thought...
