I stumbled across this B&B when my trip through Calabria ran into trouble. Even in the height of tourist season, Mr. Enzo was incredibly kind and helped me find a room despite my not having a reservation. The room was very tidy and the prices felt fair for what you get. It’s 50 meters from the center and a little over 500 meters from the beaches, so I thought it was excellent value.

Parking close to the house seemed almost impossible because of the area’s “creative” traffic, though eventually you do manage. Inside, the room was comfortable and decorated to feel like Santorini, with a Greek-island atmosphere. The host was excellent, and the place had an elevator, Wi-Fi, good breakfast, and air conditioning in the room. Everything was functional and well looked after. Definitely worth a stay.

L'isola di Gaia is surrounded by restaurants, pizzerias, bars, ice cream shops, and plenty else for a quiet evening out. My room was clean and well cared for, and Enzo was a fantastic host, always friendly, thoughtful, and available. He made my work stay feel like home. Thanks, Enzo. Keep it up, and see you next time. I’d recommend staying here.
