We stayed in a room for three and had a beautiful balcony with an amazing view. The hotel is a 20-minute walk from the city centre, but whenever we wanted to go there, to a restaurant, or to the beach, they provided a five-star shuttle service. When we were there it was free, and they were ready to take us at any time. I'd absolutely come back.

I've never stayed anywhere worse in Italy. The building layout, furniture, and facilities all feel like they're from the 1970s. Noise from the nearby highway mixed with loud music and people shouting at birthday parties the hotel itself puts on, well past midnight. The wooden windows have single-pane glass about 2 mm thick, apparently installed 50 years ago, with virtually no thermal or sound insulation. The staff were completely incompetent and had no understanding of what guests need. The bathroom was a nightmare too, old fixtures from another era and a shower with no curtain, spraying water straight over the toilet and bidet. A horrendous experience.

The room was spotless and had a lovely sea view. The decor and facilities were good, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely too, with cakes, fruit, yogurt, cereal and more.
