The apartment felt cozy, and the views across the lakes to the Ortler were great.

Wonderful place.

Two days back home and I already miss that magical corner of Trentino Alto Adige, and everything about staying there. The Arnica apartment was lovely and spotless. The kitchen had all the little things supplied, from dishwasher detergent and trash bags to dish towels, coffee, sugar, and salt. I’ve never had an apartment provide all of that. They even changed the bathroom linens midweek. The owner kindly offered to bring fresh bread each day, and Lucia, who cleaned, was so helpful. It’s 2 km from the village, which makes it a great fit if you’re after nature and peace. Highly recommended.

We spent three weeks in the studio, and our dogs loved the lawn with its loungers and table. It’s on the ground floor with its own entrance, and inside there’s plenty of space plus a lovely big bathroom. Everything was impeccably clean, thanks to Lucia’s careful work and friendly manner. Magnus, the owner, was wonderful and helpful. The setting has views of both Resia and San Valentino lakes, as well as the upper Venosta Valley. The nearby Plagött Hotel has a restaurant where we ate very well, and a buffet breakfast too, though you need to reserve.
