You can set off hiking right from the house, or drive a short way to several bigger hiking areas. It's almost traffic-free here since the road ends at the valley's end. The hosts are exceptionally friendly, the views are fantastic, and the holiday apartments are super clean, with space for two to four people. Breakfast is extensive and delicious. Highly recommended!

We've tried both a guest room and the vacation apartment, and the owners have been fantastic each time, friendly and helpful. Nothing is lacking, and if you do need something, they sort it out quickly and simply. Even the shopping service works flawlessly. It's a great, quiet base for hiking or skiing, with the option of getting back among more people quickly if that's what you feel like. The whole package is excellent.

The apartment was spotless, tastefully furnished, and stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen-diner especially had it all: stove, oven, fridge, pots, breakfast table, sofa, and TV. The shower was great and the bed wonderfully comfortable. The landlady was very friendly. I can recommend this place 100%!

Mrs. Luzia, her husband, and their cat Lola made us feel welcome in their peaceful oasis. The apartment was NEW and had every comfort, from the induction hob, oven, dishwasher, kettle, and coffee machine to the moka pot. The sofa was wonderful, the bed super comfortable, and the bathroom spacious. The location is excellent for hiking, about three-quarters of the way up the valley. The only restaurant is nearby too, handy on evenings when you don't feel like cooking. One of the best places I've stayed so far. I'll definitely return to this corner of paradise.
