We spent one night here on a half-board basis. There are only 14 rooms, and the dining room has a welcoming, charming feel. Our room was clean and very spacious, with a sitting corner, sofa, coffee table, and a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, and dinner was delicious, with two choices and a vegetable buffet. Parking under the hotel was convenient. The owners were thoughtful and kind. If I had to mention one flaw, there was no bidet. Congratulations to them.

We’ve been coming here for years, and it’s always been perfect and good value for money. The staff are clean, friendly, helpful, and courteous, and they give good advice on activities for your holiday. Breakfast is a highlight, with careful preparation and presentation and a wide range of local specialties. The hotel is in a beautiful setting in the village, with Lake Haidersee and Lake Reschen within walking distance for hikes. It also suits skiers, with the valley station about 300 meters away.

Meals were a real highlight: flavorful, delicious food with generous portions, and Martin came around after each course to offer seconds. The appetizer buffet deserves a mention too, with vegetables and plenty of prepared dishes, sometimes including meat or fish. The price felt very reasonable for the area, so the value was excellent. Our room was spotless and roomy, with a sofa, and the large new bathroom had a spacious shower. The whole family-run hotel was tastefully furnished, tidy, and very clean. It's small to medium sized, and the spaces are unusually large for a mountain hotel, handy when you're storing hiking poles, skis, or bikes in the car. Parking is easy, mostly behind the hotel and sheltered from the main road. There's also an elevator connecting the floors to the basement and parking, which made loading and unloading much easier. My stay at the Mall Hotel was absolutely positive. I highly recommend it and will definitely return.
