The rooms are roomy, and there’s a small spa with a whirlpool and sauna. The bathroom, though, has no bidet. Breakfast was a letdown for both Italian and continental options: no biscuits or toast, and no scrambled eggs or bacon. There’s quite a bit they could improve.

A good base for a few peaceful days and hikes, including with children. It’s about a half-hour walk to the bell tower at beautiful Lake Resia. The location is perfect, the rooms were very clean, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was varied and excellent. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was excellent, and the reception team handled our room concern straight away. We weren’t happy with the accessible, tiled room on the ground floor, so they moved us to a really nice first-floor room, even including a “comfort cookie.” Thanks for responding so quickly.

The rooms are clean and practical, and do the job. Breakfast is fine for a three-star place, though nothing special. You’ll probably be content if your expectations are modest, but the atmosphere isn’t especially attractive and it doesn’t feel truly relaxing.
