A lovely setting and a handy base for hikes. We stayed with our dog, and everything went smoothly. It really felt like life on a farm, and the hosts were friendly.

The Patscheider family made us feel so welcome and were always ready to help. We spent a relaxing week among green pastures, in a comfortable apartment with all the basics. Fresh bread arrived each morning from Despar, and we could buy excellent farm milk, yogurt, and cheeses. There’s a shared outdoor terrace with a barbecue, and lovely hiking trails start right at the farm.

The only real positives for us were the comfortable double bed, parking beside the house, and being close to Lake Reschen. The holiday itself was a complete failure. The constant sound of the river right next to the house was hard to escape, and dogs often barked for long stretches at night. There was no privacy either. The advertised balcony wasn't really usable and was shared with the neighbors, who could look straight into the bedroom as they came in. The apartment also didn't match the website photos. It was presented as modern, but was very dated. The kitchen had only the bare basics, and we had to ask for a lighter for the gas stove. There was significant mold showing in the grout and on the bathroom window. The skylights meant the bathroom and kitchen couldn't be ventilated properly. When we asked about the misleading pictures, the response was complete incomprehension. For the price, this was very poor value.

The cheese was well worth buying, easily the best we’ve had in a long time. We’d cycled past on a Sunday a few weeks earlier, and the farm shop opened specially for us. Many thanks, and all the best to the whole family. Stay healthy!
