Holiday Home Baia Cofano

The sea at Custonaci is really beautiful, and the villa made for a wonderful holiday. It's spacious, tastefully furnished, and has everything you need and more. The garden is lovely and well cared for, and the cleanliness was top-notch. Mary and Enzo are incredibly helpful and lovely people. They live downstairs but are reserved and never intrusive, always ready with great tips on the sea, food, and places to visit. Thanks, Mary and Enzo. We hope to see you again.

I couldn't have picked a better place for my stay in beautiful Cornino Bay. Mary's home is warm and carefully maintained, and the big garden is spotless. I loved having breakfast there with a good book, and my dog had room to run and play. The cottage was clean and had every comfort, including fresh-smelling towels and bathrobes, and a well-equipped kitchen. The sea is another big plus, with the public beach and lido just a few steps away. You can also walk to Mangiapane cave, which is a must-see. Mary was kind and helpful from the start, always offering ideas on what to see and eat. During our stay, she and her husband, Enzo, even shared an evening with us over a good liqueur. A very positive experience, and one I'd definitely repeat next year!

The veranda quickly became our favorite spot, with its sofas and tables for meals or evenings outside. There’s also an outdoor kitchen, a stone barbecue, an old wood-fired oven, a shower, a bathroom, and an above-ground pool. The residence itself is only a few hundred meters from the sea and Baia Cofano, which you can reach on foot for a swim or a walk among the scenery. The shared garden is full of local plants and fragrant herbs, and it’s kept beautifully. Inside, everything was clean and well looked after, with all the comforts we needed, including air conditioning. Mary, Enzo, and Mary’s super-mom made the stay especially memorable. Mary is sweet, cheerful, and sporty, Enzo is a great fisherman, and her mom seems to have endless energy. They were attentive, helpful, and welcoming in that wonderful Sicilian way. We know Sicily well, but this was still a holiday we’ll remember fondly. We miss you and hope to be back soon! It felt like a truly unforgettable stay for couples or families, with so much of Sicily close by.

We had such a lovely holiday here. The hosts are kind, attentive, and ready to help with whatever you need. The accommodation was very nice and spotlessly clean, with a well-kept garden. It’s a peaceful setting at the foot of Mount Cofano, and only a five-minute walk from the sea. The water was so clear and colorful it looked like a pool. I’d happily recommend this special place and its hosts.
