Ostello Bella Calabria

The breakfast buffet was generous and included in the price, and I enjoyed chatting with the guy running the place during my stay. He was so friendly. Stefano, if you see this, greetings and a warm hug from your new friend Rodolfo. If you’re passing through Naples, let me know and we’ll meet up!! 😉 I stayed in the hostel, in a private room with a shared bathroom. Cleanliness was excellent. There were laundry facilities, drying racks, a hairdryer, sheets, air conditioning, and breakfast. The play area was very well equipped, with a ping pong table, huge TV, karaoke, different board games, and even Barilla football! I recommend it especially for kids, though it’s suitable for everyone. You’ll need a car, and parking is available on site.

The hostel was incredibly peaceful, and we had a great time during our two-night stay. Our room had a comfortable bathroom, a great view, and air conditioning. Thanks for everything.

This B&B was pleasant enough, but it had more downsides than good points. There was no parking, even though the booking offered the option to reserve a spot. The shared bathroom wasn’t hygienic: there were bugs in the washing machine, and the hairdryer didn’t work. It practically exploded in my hand when I tried to use it, though fortunately I wasn’t hurt. Breakfast was poor, and so was the shared lounge. The two owners were friendly, but unprofessional and unhelpful. The morning we left, we couldn’t find anyone to hand the keys to or ask for an explanation. Maybe it’s okay for one night, but I absolutely wouldn’t recommend a longer stay.

The breakfast was plentiful, and the staff were friendly. The place is beautiful and welcoming. My only complaint was that I booked a double room but got one with three single beds. Otherwise, everything was excellent.
