Stay away! It’s isolated, cats keep coming into your room, and the host walks in without warning. The whole thing felt really creepy.

The room was well equipped, with air conditioning, a minibar, cutlery, glasses and everything needed to make tea. I also liked having convenient, secure parking on the property. The main problem was the hot water. The boiler is so small that you can only wash quickly. With my long hair, washing it in hot water was practically impossible, and that made the stay much less comfortable. This alone might have made me choose somewhere else if I’d known beforehand. Breakfast was a bit sparse, and because it was brought to the table, I couldn’t choose or adjust the portions. I got a very small slice of homemade cake, though it was good, and a little cup of plain yogurt with no fruit or cereal to add. The coffee came in a thermos, which was a nice touch since it stayed hot. I did really enjoy the friselle al pomodoro, a delicious local specialty. I’d picked this place because of its high reviews, but my experience didn’t quite live up to what I expected.

Mariella greeted us each morning with a breakfast tray decorated with flowers from the garden, and we felt so pampered. She’s a kind, sweet host who was around when we needed her without intruding. The whole house and garden were carefully maintained, with tasteful furnishings and everything in its place. We spent four nights in this peaceful little oasis. The house is in a handy spot for reaching beautiful beaches and lovely cities like Otranto, Lecce and Gallipoli. We’re so happy with our stay, thanks for everything! Mariella and Sergio were so friendly and kind, and our four days in this lovely little house surrounded by greenery were fantastic. The place was clean and full of thoughtful details, and breakfast was delicious. We couldn’t have asked for more. Lele is such a sweet dog, too, always beside us, especially at breakfast 😋😅 Simply paradise!!!!
