Betty's warmth, attentiveness, and helpfulness really stood out. We also loved spending time together around the outdoor table on a terrace, under the lit gazebo. The villa has generous bedrooms and three bathrooms equipped with everything we needed. We stayed here for a few days with friends, and tomorrow we're heading home. It's a spacious place in a great position for exploring the southernmost part of the region.

Betti is a lovely, accommodating owner who is passionate about the house and always available. The setting is quiet and rural, yet it makes a good base: beaches and villages across Salento are an easy drive away, and Aradeo is close by for restaurants, bars, and shops. Inside, the large kitchen has everything, the rooms are huge, the beds comfortable, and the bathrooms and whole house were spotless. There's air conditioning, too. The house is stylishly furnished and has enormous terraces. Our favorite was taking a shower outdoors under the stars. We'd happily come back.

Elisabetta made our stay special from the start, welcoming my friends and me warmly and making sure we had breakfast and dinner groceries, along with local oil, jams, and bread. She went out of her way to meet our requests, hosted us for an evening at her farmhouse near Lecce, Masseria Melcarne, which I highly recommend, and suggested places to swim and towns to see around Salento. Casina Grassi itself is fantastic: we spent six nights there, and found the rooms welcoming and spacious, the kitchen stocked with everything we could need, and both terraces beautiful. If I return to Puglia, I'd stay here again. Five stars, since six aren't an option!

There were eight of us, and with so much room we hardly ever crossed paths. The terraces have loungers and a swing, and there is plenty of space indoors as well. The farmhouse is beautiful and exceptionally well kept; it was the owner's childhood home, and you can sense how much happiness it brings her. Mrs. Betty is kind and helpful, almost like a love letter. Aredeo is easy to reach by car and has all the essentials, from bars and restaurants to groceries, a market, and pharmacies. Cutrufuano, Galatina, and Galatone are lively towns worth discovering, with parties and evening activity. Highly recommended, and beautiful.
