B&B La Delice

Ms. Lucia made us feel so welcome, even offering coffee and a really tasty cake. The three of us stayed one night in a double room, and the service, cleanliness, and beds were all excellent. Thanks for looking after us!

I can't comment on the room because the way we were treated overshadowed everything. We were there with three very young children, 10 months, 3 years, and 5 years old, and he wanted to put us in two rooms, which would have cut our Smartbox stay down to one night. When I politely explained my concerns and asked why, he answered with insults and swearing, including, "At his house, you let your children pee in the bed," and "I don't care." He sounded like an angry 15-year-old because I questioned the two-room arrangement and said I would leave a rating. I'm appalled by the behavior and think it's worth complaining about. It's a shame to get negative reviews from families with children when the property is next to Leolandia. Rudeness, plain and simple. One star only because I had to leave a review.

The owners were kind and ready to help with anything, and the place felt welcoming and clean from the start. We found both rooms spacious and comfortable, each with its own bathroom. Being close to Bergamo Airport and Leolandia made getting around easy. We'd happily come back, and recommend it for the location, cleanliness, and warm hospitality. Thanks, see you next time.

After booking through Smartbox, I was told the next day that my room wasn't available, but another one could be offered for an extra 40 euros. A 9:30 PM check-in would cost 20 euros more, too. Following the owner's advice, I tried to cancel, only to find out three days before arrival that cancellation wasn't possible. I didn't know that, but they surely did, so I wondered what the point of all this was. I contacted Smartbox for a refund. They checked with the property and were told the room was available and that I was the one who didn't want to come. I kept calling to stand up for my rights, and after two long months I finally got the package refunded. Smartbox had also sent three emails that went unanswered. When I phoned four times asking for clarification, they hung up on me every single time. Update: I hope I never come across people like you again. Have a good life.
