Garden Residence

We spent a week in a two-room apartment some time ago and found the residence really nice. The apartments are well cared for, with a kitchen that has decent cooking equipment. We appreciated the covered parking and free Wi-Fi, and the price was fair. Management was perfect.

The owner was very kind. When I asked for a blanket, it arrived that same day, and after I mentioned the heating issue, she switched on and adjusted the thermostat in my room. It turned out it hadn't been on, and I haven't had trouble since. She also replaced my TV with a smart TV after the national TV network changed, so I can watch Netflix on the couch with my own account. I'd add a star for how responsive she was to the comments. The residence has 13 small apartments over two floors. Mine was a small two-room place, but it had a TV, kitchen, Wi-Fi, washing machine, heat pumps, and a double bed made by joining two singles. The bed was comfortable, though a little soft for me. The kitchen hood, a "kappa," wasn't working when I arrived; after I reported it, a technician came within a week to fix it. They clean the apartment weekly and change the sheets and towels. The Wi-Fi is slow, and they ask guests to recycle without providing bins in the apartment. There's a space in the underground garage. A bus stop is also nearby, about a 10-minute walk, though the sidewalk is really narrow.

The two-room apartments are high quality, and the residence is beautiful, carefully maintained, and spotless. The only downside is that the price feels a bit steep for a long stay.

A welcoming place in a great spot, close to Bergamo and Orio al Serio airport, with Milan not far away either.
