Deiva Marina was a gem, much better than the other popular places in the region. I can’t imagine staying in one of the Cinque Terre villages with those insane crowds. The beach was a minute away, there was underground parking, breakfast was good, and lots of places to eat nearby. Marco gave us a warm, friendly welcome, making this by far our best stay in Italy. One surprise was that the AC only runs from 15:00 to 7:00, so you have to go out during the middle of the day’s heat. Keep that in mind, since it can be a hassle if, like me, you prefer swimming in the morning and evening.

Everyone was friendly and always ready to help. The rooms were very nice, and the hotel is close to the beach with free underground parking. They also have soy milk if you ask. I’d happily stay again.
