After 20 hours of travel with a baby, we were made to wait another three hours, then had to find somewhere else at the last minute and pay more. We had specifically chosen this place because it said pets were allowed, and we'd already paid for the room. But when we arrived, the owner refused to let us in, saying only one of several rooms accepted pets. The booking service even offered extra cleaning and amenities, but nothing could be agreed with the owner. He seemed indifferent and focused only on the rental money, with no empathy for our situation. We lost money, went through a lot of stress, and our holiday was ruined. It's very sad that people like this work in tourism. We wouldn't recommend the place to anyone.

The apartment sits in the hills above Deiva Marina, a handy base for trips to Portofino, Genoa, and the Cinque Terre. The owner is welcoming and shares plenty of tourist information. It's generally peaceful, though motorbikes pass by on weekends, and how quiet it is also depends on whoever's staying in the other apartment.

The landlord made our stay especially easy. He was attentive, reliable, quick to answer questions, and full of useful excursion tips. Everything went smoothly, from booking and check-in to our day-to-day stay. We spent ten days in this very well-equipped apartment. It was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we wanted, and worked really well as a base for exploring the region. We stayed in the beautiful, modern Ponente apartment, which was spotless and had all the comforts we needed. Even during July's hottest week it stayed cool without air conditioning. The owner was so kind and helpful, and knew Liguria well. He gave us all the information and materials we needed for a great holiday. The location also made it easy to visit the Cinque Terre, Genoa, and other lovely places in Liguria. Congratulations!
