The location was a real highlight, just steps from the beach in a charming, cozy village. After a sea storm damaged the beach, Franco offered us their own sun umbrellas while restoration was underway, and Alessandro arranged extra sunbeds for us at no charge. Those gestures meant a lot. Franco and Cristina were thoughtful, kind hosts, and Alessandro was just as lovely. Everyone we met was welcoming and helpful. They even gave us fresh local eggs for free, such a sweet touch. We spent 10 wonderful days at Kriss Residence by the sea. Many thanks to Franco and Cristina for their hospitality. We highly recommend staying here.

The bed, kitchen, and terrace were good, and check-in went smoothly. There’s a lift, and you can get a morning coffee at the bar downstairs. Restaurants and a bakery are within a five-minute walk. The bathroom was fine, though the shower felt a bit small. We stayed two nights in May 2026. It’s close to the station and beach, with easy access from the main road. Parking is on site, but the space is narrow, so take care.

We spent two weeks at Residence Kriss and found the community charming. It’s easy to reach Cinque Terra by train, visit different places, and then return to Deiva Marina. The hotel is ideally located near the sea, and our bright, airy room faced the ocean. It was well appointed and maintained, with cooking facilities and a balcony. Franco, Cristina, and Lucia were friendly and helpful. Since Franco and Cristina live on the property, we also got to meet their daughter Katarina and Christina’s 102-year-young aunt, who was visiting. My wife Jette and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. I don’t usually leave hotel reviews, but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Residence Kriss and Deiva Marina. We hope to come back. Bryan and Jeannette Merryfield Canada 🇨🇦

The town is beautiful and peaceful, and the hotel was wonderful. Our room and balcony were clean and spacious. The beach is under five minutes away, and the cozy terrace was a lovely place to relax after a day visiting cinque terre. The service was great, and they were very helpful. They also speak French. We’d happily return.

The location was perfect, a stone’s throw from the beach and good restaurants. Two grocery shops are next door, especially Lucia's, plus there’s a fish shop and a 4-star restaurant. The train station is about a five-minute walk, handy for Cinque terre, la Spezia, and sestri Levante. We stayed in the ground-floor apartment, which was clean and nicely furnished, with very comfortable beds, kitchen appliances, and a cozy terrace. The extra towels were ideal for beach trips. We have fond memories of our stay, and the owners were very kind. Their ice creams are a delight. Highly recommended.
