Albergo Trattoria Alessi

All eight of us came away with the same disappointment. The pizza was greasy and only half baked, the bread was rock hard and inedible, and the lasagne had no taste. The ragu was red-dyed spaghetti with almost no sauce or meat. I've eaten at a lot of restaurants over the years, and this was by far the biggest letdown.

We booked late for one night and were checked in without any fuss by a very friendly, courteous woman. The price was great, and the basic room was very clean, with good bathroom towels and everything we needed. Breakfast was included, had plenty of choices, and the staff were very helpful. It's not a fancy hotel, but it makes a great base for touring Delcesazno.

The staff were so helpful, even booking a few taxis for us, and the hotel is very central. There was a good range of breakfast options. Our room was a little basic and short on plug sockets, but it had air conditioning and was great overall.

The breakfast was a lovely way to start each day, and we really enjoyed the in-house restaurants. Our room was clean and spacious, with a cozy, inviting feel. Hotel Alessi is close to the lake, with easy access to the waterfront promenade. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and were attentive throughout. Bruno especially went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Our experience at Hotel Alessi in Desenzano was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. We're looking forward to coming back.
