Mary was a wonderful host and helped us with every question, including where to find good restaurants in Desenzano. We spent ten wonderful days at Blue Lake Home, Desenzano, and felt at home from the start. Each of us had a very spacious room with lovely, valuable furniture. The place had everything we needed, even a washing machine, and the rooms and bathrooms were spotless and fully supplied. From the balcony, the lake is right there in front of you. Blue Lake Home is in a great spot: only a five-minute walk to the center and the ferry for getting around Lago di Garda. We'd happily return any time. Thank you so much, Mary.

They don't register guests, and we've reported everything to the relevant authorities. I hope people like this are barred from working. Mrs. Mary, aren't you ashamed of throwing out five small children at 11pm? Terrible.

A homey feel alongside a touch of luxury, in an excellent apartment with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The host was excellent too. Five stars in every way.
