Hotel City

We chose this place after reading online reviews and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were courteous and helpful, and the rooms were refreshed every day. Breakfast had a great selection for different tastes. The hotel feels stylish and modern, and sits on a quiet road with little traffic, yet the high street is easy to reach. The port, bars and shops are just a three-minute walk away. Highly recommended.

The hotel is tucked away in a quiet spot, about five minutes on foot from the lake. Our room was clean and large enough for two, and breakfast was good each morning. The staff were friendly and easy to approach. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Desenzano del Garda.

The staff made a big difference to our stay. The concierge took time to share a list of things to do, places to visit, and restaurants with genuinely good food, and also told us a little about the area’s history. The hotel is in a great spot, just a two-minute walk from the bars, restaurants and waterside shopping street, but our room stayed free of street noise. We found the staff very friendly and helpful, and the location and quality were wonderful. We’ll definitely be back.

The air conditioning struggled in the late August heat, and the bed was quite stiff. I nearly rated the hotel four stars, but the service and location made up for those drawbacks. In the pouring rain, staff helped us get a ride to the station and gave us great restaurant suggestions. The shower had amazing water pressure. Breakfast was included and had a great spread of pastries, waffles, eggs, bacon, juice, coffee and more. The location alone deserves five stars.
