Hotel Vittorio

We had such a lovely time here. The rooms have a beautiful view of the lake, and if you’re travelling with a baby, they’ll set up a crib for you. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every day. The staff were welcoming, kind, and helpful.

We’ve just spent three nights at Hotel Vittorio in Desenzano, and I’d happily stay there again. It’s very clean and comfortable, nicely furnished, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is very good, with a wide variety of food. If you can book a balcony room with a lake view, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. The LN026 bus stop is a 5-minute walk away if you need to get to the train station. Walking down from the station is easy, but we needed the bus to go back up!

The hotel is in a great spot on the Main Street overlooking the harbour, and breakfast is superb with plenty of choice. The staff are always smiling and ready to help with any issue. Nothing is too much trouble. We’d forgotten our beach towels, but they hired us some for €2 a day. The rooms are first class, modern, well appointed, bright, and very clean. There are plenty of towels and the air con is great. You don’t often find a hotel this good. If you’re visiting the area, stay here.

The breakfast was amazing and the location was great. The rooms were very clean, and I really liked the beds. The place doesn’t feel renovated with much love, though it is handy to clean, I guess. If you arrive by car, parking costs 13€ per 24 hours, which wasn’t made clear at first. It’s a long walk, especially for my mom, who had turned 80, and arriving at night made it harder. The hotel also seemed to still be under construction, or at least the top floor did.
