I can't comment on the rooms since I only tried the food. Our gluten-free pizza was very good, one of the best I've ever had. We were surprised by how many places here offer gluten-free options compared with home. The service was kind and friendly, and dogs are welcome too.

This is my favorite restaurant anywhere. I don't live anywhere near it anymore, but I still make the occasional trip because it's that good. Don't expect traditional pizza here: the dough is different, and the toppings are what make it special. Luca will tell you the long list of daily pizzas, and I'd pick one of those over anything on the menu. The ingredients are excellent and the flavor combinations are brilliant. You can ask for a half-and-half pizza to try more than one. My favorites are the pistachio-base with artichokes, steamed bacon, and robiola, and the walnut-base with dark ham, pear, and gorgonzola. That gives you an idea of how unusual they are. If you're near the south of the lake, definitely try it. You won't regret going, though if you live far away you might regret not being able to have that pizza again!
