Hotel Palazzo del Garda

It was a quiet, laid-back hotel, mostly couples, and the main part of town was about a 15-minute walk away. The staff made an effort to greet us and look after us, and service was excellent. The cold pool was lovely for cooling off while sunbathing, and we really enjoyed the snacks served with drinks. Breakfast had a good range of fresh, quality food. Our room was grand, though it could use a bit more TLC. We tried the sauna one day and had it to ourselves, which was great. We’d recommend staying here and would choose it again if we came back to Lake Garda. Hope this helps 😊

We had no trouble finding sun beds, and the pool area was clean and well maintained. There’s free parking, and breakfast was nice, with gluten-free options. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were nice, and it’s around a 10-minute walk to the main centre. Staff were very friendly. I’d highly recommend it.

We booked at the last minute, checked in that same evening and were delighted to get a free upgrade. Everyone on staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and tidy. The breakfast buffet had a good balance of choices for different diets, including vegan and gluten-free options. My personal favourite was the fruit juicer, where you could make fresh juice yourself. I’m glad we found this place.

We’re here on holiday again, having first visited in September 2018, and it’s just as we remembered: clean, in a great location, with very friendly staff. This time our six-year-old son is with us, and he loves the pool and hot tub. We chose a garden room for quick access to the pool, which is especially handy with kids. We considered the rooftop suite, but I’m glad we went with the garden room. And the cocktails are to die for. This definitely won’t be our last visit!
