Hotel Piroscafo

Hotel Piroscafo made arranging a nearby parking spot easy. We walked about five minutes to it, since there’s no parking at the hotel or in the old town area beside it. The location is very convenient, and the simple interiors still feel warm and cosy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

The terrace looks out over the old harbour, and the hotel is right by the old town and ferry for trips around the lake. Our room was immaculate and had good facilities, including a minibar. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Lovely place, and I hope to return.

Being right in the centre means bars and restaurants are all around, and the ferry is just two minutes away. The train station is a 20-minute walk. There’s no hotel bar. Rooms are small but very well appointed, with good cupboard space and a lovely bathroom with a good shower. Plenty of towels, a hairdryer and shower gel were provided. I’d get a front room with a balcony, the view is lovely. Electric shutters give complete blackout and keep things quiet. Breakfast was always good, with the usual choices and very good pastries. The breakfast team are all lovely, and the manager is kind and helpful. Recommended.

Our room faced the back, so there was no view, but it was quiet, just what we wanted. It also seemed recently renovated. Breakfast was included and served outside, which was very nice. The owner was super helpful, and all the staff were kind. A cute little hotel in central Desenzano with a great location.
