The home on Via Giulio Cesare was a comfortable place to come back to after exploring Lake Garda. It was immaculately kept, with thoughtful details that made it feel elegant but still welcoming. Even a quiet coffee in the morning felt like a treat there. We especially liked how easy it was to get around. Dinner, shops, and lakeside views in the heart of Desenzano were only a short walk away, while the home itself felt peaceful enough to unwind. It had a lovely balance of convenience and calm. Everything worked smoothly during our stay, and the house added a lot to the trip without making a fuss about it. We had an incredible time and would happily return.

The greenery around the property and the pools were definite highlights, and it's close to the lake too. Getting to the swimming area takes a bit of a walk, though, and swimming there wasn't really possible because of the large rocks in the water. The entrance is opposite the hotel. Our room was at the far end of the property, so taking rubbish to the containers by the municipal parking entrance was a hassle. The sofa in the living room was ripped, and some things were missing, including an electric kettle and a grill. We stayed for a week during 35-degree heat with no air conditioning in our room. We had been told about that on Booking.com, but when we raised the issue the property wouldn't work with us. They just told us to contact Booking.com. It was a difficult stay.

The residence has generous green spaces and three pools, so it works well for a short break. It's also handy for getting to the Garda parks. The large outdoor parking lot has become paid parking because of the municipality, which is a nuisance for both residents and guests.
