We spent two weeks here with our baby and dog, and both had a great time. The apartment for six was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. We could ask for fresh towels and linens whenever necessary, and the shared areas were kept tidy. The host was available and made sure everything was up to standard. It's a wonderful place in lovely surroundings, with great management, and we'd come back as soon as we can.

We loved our four nights here and would happily return. The flat was spotless, well air conditioned, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The pool was nice too, and the hosts were wonderfully friendly. Really brilliant, folks should go!

Manuel was so friendly and helpful, and really sweet with our kids. There are cots and high chairs available, plus a small play park in the garden. We were lucky to use the pool at the end of October because it was heated to 28 degrees. The apartment was modern, stylish, clean, and had a well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. It's an easy walk into town and a good base for visiting other lakeside towns. We had a great holiday at Relais Madergnago Gardapartments.

We booked two nights in mid October because the ratings looked good. The place seemed clean and nice, but we hardly slept. The double bed was extremely small, about 190 long and 120 wide, I think. At nearly 2m tall, I'm used to beds longer than 200cm, so this was uncomfortable. There were also alarms going off for hours at night and dogs barking in the morning. The toilet is upstairs in the bathroom, which wasn't practical. We were glad it was only a two night off season stay. The master bed was tiny, and the noise at night and early morning was disappointing. In response to the owner's reply: Dear Manuel, we were guests, not competition. We'd also read reviews saying it was very quiet, but our experience was quite different. I travel a lot for work and haven't slept in a bed shorter than 200cm since I stopped camping decades ago. I'm close to 2m tall, so I hope you can understand why a 190cm bed wasn't comfortable. I would've appreciated a response that addressed the discomfort we experienced instead of downplaying my reaction and worrying about public ratings.

Manuel is always there and ready to help. The apartments are small scale, well equipped, and very clean, with a friendly welcome and a decent bread service. It's peaceful but still near Lake Garda and the pleasant center of Desenzano. The pool is lovely, and the air conditioning works well, though it's quite loud. Recommended.
