The kids loved the pool, where there were usually other families around, and you could order drinks and snacks. We also liked having the underground garage, since the car stayed cool. Breakfast was a good option for us, with scrambled eggs, bacon, and a full continental spread. It meant we didn't need another meal until well after midday. There's a Nescafé machine in the room, so you can buy capsules. We were delighted with Il Sogno and Desenzano as a base for our first Lake Garda trip. The apartments were spacious and comfortable, with a large fridge, a good sized TV, wide balconies, and full sliding doors in both the bedroom and lounge. The AC worked well. It's on a quiet street just a few minutes' walk from town, with a supermarket 3 minutes away. Staff were extremely helpful, and Sirmione is very close, a 15-20 minute drive, so we could go early and beat the crowds.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartments were so clean, the staff were all friendly, and it's an easy walk to lots of shops and restaurants. They're pet friendly too. We'd highly recommend Il Sogno Apartments!

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the pool and breakfast were nice. Staff were very pleasant, and the location was great. One thing to know: you have to ask reception to set the air conditioning temperature because you can't adjust it yourself. We left the window open once and the room filled with flies.

Friendly, helpful staff at a nice place, within reasonable walking distance of town and the train station. There was a washing machine available that we hadn't known about. After we used it, we were told a wash costs 10 euros, but they waived the charge since nobody had mentioned the fee beforehand.
