The sunset alone made the stay feel worth every penny. Hotel Cristina also had lovely staff, a great pool, clean and cozy rooms, and a nice beach. We absolutely loved it and would come back again. 10/10.

The beach was a short walk away, with crystal-clear water and a private feel. Free chairs and umbrellas were provided, too. Although Hotel Cristina is a few miles from downtown, Antonio kindly ran a free shuttle there and back during my visit. Diamante is a gorgeous coastal town, with lovely art and architecture. I traveled on my own and felt safe. The hotel also seems well suited to families, and there are free train rides around the property. It felt like home from the start. Cristina and her son Antonio treated me like family, and everyone was accommodating. The place was clean and well cared for, with a gorgeous sea view from my balcony. The flowers and greenery were lovely, and I even had a chance to paint. The sunsets were amazing. Breakfast was laid out nicely each morning, with fresh croissants, fruit, and the best cappuccino I've ever had. I stayed in late May 2015 and found the hotel beautiful and charming. I'd strongly recommend it for its simple, homey Italian feel.

The food here is good, and you can eat at the hotel. It's clean, has its own parking, and sits just off the SS18 near Diamante.
