The people are what make Silvana and Edy's Le Raganelle farmhouse so special. Edy is simply a force of nature, and Silvana and Alessandra's kindness and care made us feel completely at home. We spent four days as guests and headed back feeling like we'd found friends. We already miss them and are longing to return soon. It’s a peaceful little paradise among the olive trees. The rooms and surroundings are beautiful and impeccably clean, and we loved the traditional food they prepared for us each evening.

The food was the real highlight for us. Mrs. Silvana, Edy, and Alessandra served high-quality local Ligurian dishes that really impressed us. The place itself is lovely, surrounded by olive trees, with a beautiful pool and just a short walk from the sea. It’s a great spot to relax and recharge. We were pleasantly surprised, thank you for the holiday. We’ll be back soon. Carrara Family

We stayed for a lovely week at the end of April with our two-year-old. We had a spacious Salvia apartment with a wonderful view, and our son loved hearing the rooster in the morning. With the windows open you could hear it, though it wasn’t bothersome to us. There are lots of animals and plenty of room for kids to run and play. The playground is nice, though some of the equipment is a little dated. We also liked the large sun terrace by the beautiful pool, but it was still closed because of the season and temperatures. The staff were kind and helpful throughout. Silvana made us feel at home and offered varied menus, including options for our son, who can be a fussy eater. Martina, if I’m remembering her name right, introduced us to the animals and told us about each one. Our son got to feed them and explore their area. Unlike the ponies and goats, that group of animals can only be entered with a guide because there’s a guard turkey there. We brought our own bikes, but rentals are also available. They’re handy for getting to Diano Marina or riding the lovely cycle path to Marina di Andora, about 8 km away. The farm is also well placed for supermarkets and the sea, but it’s a little way from the town center, which means it’s quiet. You’ll need a bike or car to get around. I hope we can come back soon, preferably outside peak season, when Diano Marina is more comfortable to visit. With its wide stretches of free beach, you can enjoy the sea in peace.

Our apartment terrace had a lovely view over the valley and right out to the sea. We also took several trips by bike and car from the farm, which sits on the edge of Diano Marino (Castello) behind a gated entrance. We felt safe there the whole time. There was plenty of shade for the car, and we could store and charge our e-bikes for free in the large garage. We also had a secure place for the bike rack when we weren’t using it. The 35-square-meter room had its own bathroom and a small kitchenette, and was comfortably furnished for two people over two weeks. We’d booked breakfast but only ate there a couple of times since we could prepare things in the kitchenette. Silvana refunded the unused breakfasts. She and her team were attentive, and Silvana also took our dietary preferences into account when planning the typical Ligurian three-course dinners they were happy to serve in the evenings. Dogs are welcome at the farm, and some other guests brought theirs. Expect mosquitoes in the evenings beneath the olive trees. Antibrum or Autan repellent worked well for us. Turkeys and geese woke us in the mornings. We’re going home with lovely memories.
