Cathy gave us a warm welcome, and the apartment was modern, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Its location near the highest point of Diano d'Alba also gave us breathtaking views across Piemonte. Parking is a little way from the apartment and you reach it by a pair of stairs, so it's useful to know if mobility is an issue. For us it worked perfectly, and we'd definitely come back to enjoy those views again.

The place was spacious and very private, with a shower heater that worked well. It was super clean, and the host was quick to respond. We booked through airbnb and she checked us in herself. Definitely worth staying a couple of days, and I highly recommend it.

We stayed for a long weekend near Alba, and the hilltop village was a perfect base. A great cafe, local shop, wine cellars, and restaurants were just a few minutes' walk away. There were also excellent restaurants a short drive away, or walkable in the daytime if you don't mind hills. The hosts were lovely, and the flat was modern, clean, and had all the amenities we could think of.
