Arc en Ciel Hotel

The hotel has its own beach and a lovely sea view. We couldn’t swim because the waves were too strong, but we found the staff very welcoming. The hotel was clean, with no mold, and there were breakfast options.

It’s about a 20-minute walk to Cervo, and the hotel itself was lovely. Our room was nice, and breakfast came with a view.

I’d definitely recommend Arc en Ciel Hotel. The team is great, and having a private beach is a real feature in Imperia. Alessia at the front desk was professional and helpful, Luca was always happy to lend a hand, and beach attendant Eddy did a great job arranging space on the beach for everyone. For me, this is the best hotel in Imperia Province, with the best team.

I first stayed for one night while travelling back to Milan from the French Riviera, then liked it enough to return the following weekend for a longer stay with my sister. It’s tucked at the end of a busy street, so the location feels private and is really convenient. Since the hotel faces east, there’s sun from early morning into the evening, which means more time for sunbathing. Parking is limited to five spaces, so arrange a spot with reception in advance. Otherwise you’ll need to park on the street, where finding a space can be difficult depending on the season. The hotel serves continental breakfast, which seems unusual for Italian hotels. I didn’t try it, but my sister said it was amazing. We couldn’t get lunch at the hotel because its restaurant was fully booked whenever we were there. Maybe hotel guests could get priority for lunch reservations. Dinner was just okay, nothing special, so we went to other restaurants in town instead. The room was clean, though basic and a little small. The mattress was much too hard for me, but that’s personal preference. I’d stay here again.
