We found this place at the last minute when we wanted a weekend away. The bedrooms were okay but a little run down. Sometimes the staff can be sassy, but it’s cool.

The worst part was being charged for breakfast and then not getting the breakfast we paid for. On the third morning, staff put out a couple of slices of cheap ham and some cheese for what seemed to be the whole hotel, over eighty people. When it was gone, they rudely refused to bring out more. Most of our tourist group, me included, left hungry. I found this deeply upsetting and disrespectful to guests, and it felt like outright theft. Our room was extremely small, with no free power outlets to charge our phones. It was clean but very dark, with just one murky ceiling light and a small bedside lamp. I’m deeply unsatisfied with this hotel, especially the staff service. Avoid it!

We recently spent 7 nights at Hotel Silvano. The hotel itself was okay, but most of the staff were not. They seemed to speak only English when saying “NO ENGLISH,” and did it without a smile. In our opinion, the food was awful, very cheap Italian food. The packed lunches weren’t any better, with dry rolls and a bit of meat and cheese. One of mine was just half a cold hamburger. We wouldn’t recommend the hotel.

The food was okay, though there wasn’t much to choose from. Our room was very cold because the temperature was so low, and there was a lot of noise. In the middle of the night, staff woke us to ask if we were the ones making it.
