Dolomiti Camping Village&Wellness Resort

The website pictures made the facilities look much more extensive than they were. We couldn't find a pool, shop, or cafe, and many of the listed facilities seemed to be gone or reserved for rafters. The camping field was cramped, with less than 50cm between tents, and the car park was an inconvenient distance away. The women's facilities were very clean but limited to two showers, two basins, and three toilets. The changing area opens onto the washing up space, so anyone using it is exposed to the whole campsite if the door opens. Rafting seemed to be the main focus, then the very small campervan pitches, then tents. Barking dogs, late arrivals, and loud conversations kept us awake. This wasn't the restful wellness holiday we expected.

The washing machine left our laundry stuck inside until the next day. We managed to collect ten 1 euro coins, but that still wasn't enough to finish the cycle, and nobody had any more coins. I gave one star because of this. Doing laundry costs more than 10 euros, and you need it all in 1 euro coins.

We spent one night at the campsite and were very happy with it. The toilets and showers were clean and well equipped, and there was a picnic area too. Though it's just off the main street, the nearby stream drowns out the sounds of civilization with the noise of nature.

The main downside for us was the restaurant noise. Our apartment was above the Pizzeria, and the walls didn't block much sound. We could hear people talking and music late into the night on several evenings, and the thin walls also let noise through from neighboring rooms. I'd avoid an apartment above the Pizzeria, especially on the 1st floor. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and efficient, the campsite was clean, organized, and nice to look at, and there were enough parking spaces. The pizzeria food was delicious and the waitresses were charming. The outdoor pool was a little crowded and small. We didn't use the SPA, so I can't comment on it. The rafting center was well organized, and friends who went on a trip had a great time. I recommend staying here.
