For the same price, it's hard to find a cozier hotel, though you could get more comfort if you spend more. The rooms are a bit small, and the furniture could use replacing. Still, the staff are great, the food is good, and there's a generous breakfast buffet. The heated indoor pool and ski shuttle are free to use, so it's very good value for money.

We nearly gave up on a couple of days in the mountains because prices were so wild, so finding two rooms for us and friends around New Year's Eve felt lucky. The hotel has lots of rooms and a heated indoor pool that's functional and well maintained. Common areas are pleasant and renovated. Our room was dated, but very clean and had the comforts we needed, plus a balcony with a view. The hotel sits a little above town, but the center is still just a short walk away. Everyone on staff was cheerful, friendly, and helpful. The food was excellent, with traditional dishes given a special twist. There was a good range of sides at the buffet, and breakfast had both sweet and savory choices. Portions stayed consistent, so you could ask the staff if you wanted more. New Year's Eve dinner was delicious without being too heavy. We really enjoyed our stay.
