Alpenhotel Ratsberg

After a long hike, the patio's breathtaking view was such a treat. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. On our last day we needed to leave very early for a long hike, and Sonia kindly opened breakfast early for us. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

The staff were some of the most helpful people I've met. I had trouble after missing some road toll payments, and they really helped me out. The welcome was friendly and familiar from the start, the food was great, and I loved being up on the mountain instead of down in the valley. The location and views are amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ❤️❤️❤️

The food was awesome, and we could have dinner on the terrace, indoors or outside. The buffet breakfast had sweet and savoury options, plus tasty homemade cakes and jams. Our room had spectacular views of the Dolomites. The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly.

The family who own this place are really nice, and despite all it offers, the atmosphere isn't fancy. Everyone's in hiking clothes, and it feels elegant while still being family friendly. The view is staggering; as the clouds and light shift, it keeps amazing you. The food was incredible, especially the soups. I also loved the whirlpool baths, which felt like a massage, the hot and cold blast shower, sauna, and pool with whirlpool areas. There are more things to explore in the wellness center, and I wasn't even sure what to do with some of the options. My only drawback: you can't get here by bus, so without a car you'll need to pay for a taxi. If you have time in a Dobbiaco while visiting the Dolomites, I highly recommend it.
