The young receptionist handled a room mix-up really well and was exceptionally kind and friendly. We hadn't expected much, as a tour company booked this medium-sized hotel for our final night before heading into the mountains on the alta via 1. It's a little old-fashioned, but very clean, and seemed to mostly have German and Austrian guests. A nice touch is the backpack in the room for day trips. There are two saunas, a steam room, and a decent-sized pool, which we were lucky to find empty. The food was good and professionally cooked, though it didn't have much love or imagination. Breakfast was good too, especially the fresh, nutty brown bread, which stood out in an area where white rolls are often the norm. When we left, the man at reception was less friendly, which left a bit of a bad taste. We found it hard to fault the hotel, but also hard to love.
