Albergo Leon D'Oro

The portions are generous, prices reasonable, and service quick. The staff were smiling and attentive, which was a real plus. The cooking is very good, simple, and full of local flavor. There's enough on the menu to suit different tastes without it feeling overwhelming, with a few less usual dishes too. You'll find this pleasant restaurant on Dogliani's main street, right in the heart of town. It has a traditional feel that fits the Langhe experience. I'd go back.

The tagliolini with venison and mushrooms were delicious, and the dessert was the best part: zabaglione cream that tasted like it had been made with so much love. The food was truly high-quality, and the final price felt fair and honest. It's an elegant place, full of little details that make it feel like stepping back in time. Filippo served us for two lunches in a row, always kind and professional. Thanks to him and all the staff. I'll remember this place when I return to Dogliani.

We stumbled on this restaurant by chance and were really pleased. The food was good, the Dogliani was good, and the hospitality was excellent. PS: My husband's documents were at the hotel!! Thank you, and goodbye.

Good food, excellent staff, and a great choice if you're after good food, excellent wines, and their licorice.
