B&B La Casa Del Caco

The surrounding villages gave us a lovely glimpse of everyday Italian life, and the mountain views over olive groves were incredible. Andrea is a thoughtful, kind host who offers ways to reconnect with yourself and nature if that's what you want. The house is full of distinctive, carefully designed rooms and corners that feel welcoming right away. A beautiful spot to get away and rest.

Those nearby natural lakes were a highlight for me, with lovely swimming just a short walk away. Dolcedo is about a 40-minute walk and has a few places to eat or get coffee, plus a small grocery store. La Casa del Cacao feels tucked away in nature, quiet enough to properly unwind, and I loved starting the day with the countryside sounds and those views. The hosts were warm and helpful, shared good local tips, and made delicious breakfasts. A local chef can also bring freshly cooked meals to the BnB, which was such a treat. A special, peaceful place.

We stayed here in 2019 and would love to return in spring or summer to explore more of the countryside. Getting to Imperia is convenient too, via the road beside the Imperia West toll station. We remember the lovely welcome, room, and view very fondly.

The olive groves and hiking trails around here are beautiful. Inside, every room feels cozy and has its own character, and the hosts are so kind and cook lovely food. We definitely want to come back.
