The pool situation was frustrating. It's shared with another place, and when I went to get a drink at the poolside bar, I was told it belonged to the other accommodation. I was also told I shouldn't sit on the chairs. That was on top of a disastrous stay: we booked a room with a balcony and were given a half-finished attic apartment with no balcony or air conditioning. Paying nearly 1,000 euros to spend a week in 30-degree heat in an attic wasn't what we had in mind. We contacted the host, who wasn't on-site and communicated through WhatsApp. At first they said they'd look for a solution, then stopped replying. Booking.com got involved, and we were eventually offered somewhere else on a busy road, in a different location, with no pool and a 5.2 rating on Booking.com. When I said that didn't seem suitable, they went silent again. I also tried calling the host, who said he didn't speak English and hung up. For 1,000 euros, we got a sweltering attic with nowhere to sit outdoors, no terrace, and awful interactions. I strongly recommend that people stay away.

We only spent one night here, but the welcome and help throughout our stay were outstanding. Giovanni, the owner's son, greeted us and was very friendly. Hospitality, professionalism, and helpfulness really do make a great combination here. I'd recommend it, and then some. Valente Anselmo
