I rarely give five stars, but Nicomat Rooms in beautiful Domodossola earned them. It's just off the old market square and only minutes from the station, so the location couldn't be better. My room was immaculate and had everything I needed. The host was kind and helpful, and packed me a nice breakfast for the next morning when I had to leave early. Highly recommend.

The hosts made us feel like family, and we'd happily come back. NicoMat Rooms is a lovely, cozy place with lots of character in the almost magical town of Domodossola, and the location is prime. Check-in hours are limited, but the stay more than made up for that. Breakfast in the unusual underground cellar made the mornings feel special.

A really cute family-run boutique hotel, recently renovated and well kept. It's right in the city center, with bars, restaurants, grocery stores, and cafés all within walking distance. The neighborhood is generally quiet and relaxing. The hotel got in touch about my special requests for my husband's birthday and went the extra mile to make our room and stay feel personal and special. There's an elevator, which is handy if you have lots of bags or find stairs difficult, and a mini bar stocked with what you need. Breakfast is included, with a great selection of local items, fresh-baked treats and juices. It was very vegan and gluten-free friendly. The only small downside was the old building: lobby noise travels up to the rooms and may bother light sleepers. I'd definitely stay again. It's a lovely place that puts you right in the middle of things.

The room had a lot of charm and a lovely view, and it was very clean, well equipped and clearly cared for. Our host made everything easy with how accommodating they were. I'd gladly come back and recommend staying here.
