Il Gabbiano

We were greeted with friendly, welcoming service, and the hotel grounds were lovely, clean, and well cared for. Breakfast was great, and there was plenty of parking. Several beaches are very close by.

In June, you might even be lucky enough to see nesting flamingos at the Chia pond from the garden. It's a rare, moving sight, and the property has a peaceful feeling that's hard to find elsewhere. The location is extraordinary, close to some of Chia's most beautiful beaches. The rooms are in small, separate houses among palm trees and a beautifully kept garden. They're not modern, but comfortable and peaceful, just right for getting away from the daily grind. Breakfast was varied and carefully prepared, and the staff were courteous, professional, and helpful. A special thanks to Monica, who's always kind and attentive when there's anything you need. The excellent breakfast and genuine charm make Hotel Il Gabbiano a lovely way to experience Chia.

Monica's warm welcome made us feel at home, and the breakfasts were delicious, with genuine homemade products. We also loved the quiet setting and the beautiful garden overlooking the flamingo lagoon. After our fantastic vacation, we'd choose Il Gabbiano again if we return. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed, and the service was impeccable.
