Agriturismo Paulesa

The meal was €40 p.p. and there was so much food that we were full before the main course. First came cheeses and cured meats, including dried ham and peccorino, plus quiche, warm bread and fig jam. Then we had fried veggie balls, sweet and sour pork, and handmade stuffed pasta, followed by typical Sarde pasta with tomato sauce and ragout. The roasted pig came with potatoes, and dessert was a big homemade cookie filled with ricotta. Everything was good. We stayed one night in our 7m camper. The access road is gravel, but that was no problem, and the staff were friendly. Camper service is available for chemical toilets and greywater. We’d rather refill fresh water at the fountain in the mountains.

Marzia and her mom made us feel at home and comfortable with everything. The food was delicious, with most ingredients coming from their own produce, 0 km. It’s a peaceful setting and, best of all, pet friendly!

Renata, our host at Agriturismo Bio Farm Cucché, recommended this restaurant for dinner, and we loved it. Paulesa’s set menu was incredible, starting with cheeses, meats, olives, zucchini and tomatoes with mozzarella, polpettes, gulurgiones, condiments and fresh bread. The gnocchi and cheese ravioli in tomato sauce were simple and full of flavor, then came succulent roast pig with crackling and wedges. Seada and digestivo finished things off beautifully. Honest, authentic cooking, done just right. We left full and a little teary eyed. 10/10 would recommend!

The food is excellent, and the host is wonderful. You get a varied setting, out in the countryside but also near the sea and mountains.
