After we left, the owner said we had damaged a plastic piece on an old sofa, even though it was already broken when we arrived. We tried to dispute it, but he kept the entire €400 deposit over that piece. We’d booked the place for a week in January with friends. The Airbnb listing showed one price, then after we contacted the owner he said it was actually twice as much. With no real alternatives in Cala Gonone, we decided to go ahead anyway. This felt like a scam, and I’d strongly advise against renting here. It wasn’t worth the hassle.

Aunt Maria, the owner, is wonderful. Thank you for everything. I highly recommend staying here.
