La bouganville

Lovely little apartments within walking distance of the town beach, and the host was really friendly. Sitting on the balcony in the early sun with a morning coffee was such a nice way to start the day.

Roberta deserves a special mention for helping us out and offering advice in every situation. We found the apartment very comfortable and better than expected, with room for five and all the comforts we needed. It was spotless, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the air conditioning worked well. The terrace was spectacular for having breakfast or dinner outside.

We had an easy time parking just below the property, and there are discounts for groups or longer stays. The children's playground is only 200 meters away. Roberta, the owner, was kind, helpful, and always had suggestions for things to do and places to see. We felt very welcome. La Bouganville Apartments at Via dei Lecci 10 are around 400 meters from the sea, with Palmasera beach, restaurants, bars, pizzerias, ice cream shops, supermarkets, stores, a pharmacy, post office, ATM, and marina all a 5-10 minute walk away. The residence sits in a quiet green public park, among Mediterranean pines, junipers, and mastic trees. Apartments are spacious and well kept, looking toward either the pine forest or Cala Gonone's limestone cliffs. Each has a sea-facing balcony, terrace, or veranda, a nice place to relax at day's end. We had Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, TV, a washing machine, and a well-equipped kitchen with a microwave, toaster, and electric kettle. I'd recommend it for a comfortable stay close to nature and local hospitality in Cala Gonone.
